Back in the day I had a huge crush on Cyndi Lauper. She was my favorite artist back then. I'd never seen anyone with their hair dyed orange and half their head shaved into a checkerboard design. I thought she was so cool. I'm not sure if she had any hits in the '90s, but in the mid-'80s that girl could do no wrong.
Loved her music, too. Her voice is amazing.
